Sourdough Pre-Oven Croissant 2PC

Premium quality sourdough croissant made by French Butter

Storage: Freezer

Method of baking sourdough Croissant

1. Take out from freezer. Put in chiller overnight.
2. Take out from chiller the next day.
3. Unwrap the plastic wrap and proof for about 2 to 2 ½ hours at room temperature. (This process will rise the sourdough, but don't proof for too long as it will start sinking after it rises to the maximum size. 
4. Egg wash on the croissant surface.
5. Bake in preheated oven ( 180c ) for about 25 to 30 minutes
6. Let it cool down for 5to10 minutes and consume immediately while it is still warm and crunchy

 

There is an faster way you can try as follow

1. Take out from freezer and leave it at room temperature for 1 hour.
2. Unwrap the plastic wrap and put it on the oven-safe plate.
3. Proof for about 2 to 2 ½ hours at room temperature. (This process will rise the sourdough, but don't proof for too long as it will start sinking after it rises to the maximum size. 
4. Egg wash on the croissant surface. 
5. Bake in preheated oven ( 180c ) for about 25 to 30 minutes
6. Let it cool down for 5to10 minutes and consume immediately while it is still warm and crunchy
